Life is full of twists and turns
Time to think about what one learns
Hope and dreams shattered too
But where old ones new ones grew

So life may not always go as planned
But it will show you how to land
Among the kindness and loving few
Who are always there for you

Get back up and march on
Don't dwell on that which has gone
Look forward into futures eyes
Do this without any disguise

You never know what will be
If only I could let you see
The brighter side of it all
Hold that chin up and stand tall
