Our country is plagued by bad TV
I know there are those who disagree
The drugs and thugs
The hate and corrupted debate

The corporation making more than you conceive
The corporation who will always deceive
Why must we stay up to date
With that which is so full of hate

The violence which terrifies
The immorality which defies
The insanity which they show
The ignorance which you know

Propaganda and slander
No values or virtues
The content of what you see
Imbedded now inside of me

How has all this impacted us
Why should I make a fuss
It's that which we don't know
Influenced by the show

I feel so angry at the industry
Plagued by greed
Ruined by ignorance
Spreading and encouraged

Like there is nothing more to do
When there is me and you
Because it numbs the mind
But seldom shows what's kind
