So today I went to a street party
And sat beside a man
Who runs a spoken word club
And I am a fan
I bough the two lads Samosa's
I set up my books on the table
We sat and talked like merry men
And didn't need a cable
The music was so loud to me
I could pitch the book to see
I handed out the flyers
To a lot of passer's byes
No sales made sadly
I go home with books in bag
One day they'll speak my name
At home or at a glance
