He was a free spirit, a loner
Struggling against materialism,
Tormented by his compassion
For the Earth and its people,
He cared so deeply
As the tears in his eyes showed.

The pain and wrongs of this world,
He wanted to fix them all,
But people turned away, wouldn’t listen,
He often found himself alone,
Aching for the company
Of a kindred soul.

A hippy in a battered van,
Hair tied back in a pony tail,
Tanned skin, simple clothes,
Well read, a singer, poet,
A craftsman wandering from town to town
Searching for honest labouring work.

My sweetie had a blue bus similar to this, and he had a seizure, and drove it into a concrete waste basket. Needless to say, he was ok, but the bus was not.

He really loved that bus, and still misses it, even tho that was 2001..

Thanks for posting your comment. I have known several people who have had seizures:frightening experience. Glad your sweetie was okay.
