Weather warning
Stereosonic in the bar
I wanted to travel so far

Friend will pick me up
Met him once and said what’s up
Read a poem from my book
Bring him more to take a look

Arrived at the airport
Oh so soon
Payment due
No monsoon

Staying in the
Shakespeare hostel
Make some friends
Hope I do well

Sleeping in a big dorm room
Blistered fingers from the broom
Two day’s work on the way
At the showgrounds out to play

In the bar I will be
In the airport morning tea
