So many cultures living together
Spending time chilling where ever
All over the city and suburbs too
You see multiple cultures doing what they do

First I was acquainted with a German
He was a bar tender and a funny man
Acted like my father telling me to stop
The drinking and the partying every drop

Then came Chinese girl in her room
Seldom talking and avoiding doom
And from Singapore small and petite
A girl who was truly elite

Malaysian was the next housemate
Never had she been on a date
Smiles and laughter and drinks with me
This girl was glorious as could be

Finally there was Indian Chef
And Norwegian girl never deaf
We went out and about to comedy night
We had never had a fight

My housemates the many I knew
I was grateful for all this is true
All in the past now living with men
A partner and another African
