Her smiles alight inside me
Blissful sparks and feelings of glee
Yes she needs me
And she cries feed me

Oh my nappy needs a change
And lack of sleep left me deranged
But we've made it a whole year
Despite of paranoid fear

So delightful I find my child
Her hair a blazing wild
Her precious little features
Playing with all sorts of creatures

Extra cost doesn't bother much
As long as she has some such
Battled our struggles early on
But now that time has gone

A year last month she made
Felt like holding a parade
So proud this momma now
Made it through I don't know how

A haze three months went by
Another two and I did cry
Broke down a couple of days
For not having the right ways

Seldom ill my child has been
Sounding like a dream
Never kept the house clean
Not far have we been
