Doing so much
For so little
Time has gone
Now I'm brittle

Inbox full
Of useless words
Of people who just
Need to be heard

Time is passing
Nothing achieved
For me who sat here
And believed

One day they said
It will come
My turn to fly
Never done

As if it will
One day just change
In my favour
Just deranged

Struggle on
Another day
Blame myself
Without pay

Falling lower
Through the cracks
Drowning in
The densest stacks

Depression here
Inside my mind
Bringing things
Which are unkind
