Freedom begins in the mind
From all this silence, I'm going blind

When the ideas just don't elate
And my mind gets caught up in the debate

Sense to them but nonsense to me
If we would just stop and think to be

When the desire to rise above today
And have more of a better way

Struggling base of basic needs
When there exist the others greeds

Satisfaction a mystery
Caught up in all its history

When mind will delay the reasoning
They include so much seasoning

Of bitter remarks and a laugh or two
Belittled until the crowd is blue

Out of ashes one day to make
A life of greatness make no mistake

The road is long and beyond this bend
Turning us into something to defend

This time around we might break free
And find somewhere else to be
