Halloween Aftermath

Last night was Halloween for us
We went out and I made a fuss
All dressed up and make up too
But sipped lemonade the whole night through

For the first time I stayed up late
In a really long time and it was great
We danced all night and sang the tunes
And even got caught up in the fumes

A Halloween party in the bar
Carry my child oh so far
Good fun was had with drums and dance
Great costumes some found romance

A nice place with a bit of atmosphere
As faces were painted really clear
Ghosts and goblins and two headed man
We finished by 2am coz we can
