Temptation can get the better of you
I do not envy her life
My situation may be just as bleak
Desperation may crawl through my door

Relationships will change
With the tides of time
People hide their complaints
Society wants to know

Bitter secrets with a side of sweetness
Monstrosities reach beyond the kindness
She who tames a wild beast
Can not confide in raging seas

Uncertainty beneath a limb
Torment and lament
Pain around the bend
Just the absence of good thoughts
