I've made some progress in my world
And made some new contacts too
I'm also retracing my steps a little
And remembering success I have felt

I've been on radio a few times
Sharing poems and the like
Now I have reached out to reconnect
With the network that made it so

I've volunteered at the local council
And met the people in power
The full timers and employees
And I've reached out to connect

I applied to be involved
In my first community project
About the people and stories
Of 3047 local area
