Cold Weather

The weather is cold, the wind is chilly
And it’s starting to rain,
But after my whinging about summer
I don’t dare to complain,
I can always get warm
By putting on a windcheater,
Or by closing all the doors
And turning on the heater.

There are lots of ways to ward
Off the cold and add some heat,
An extra thick pair of socks
Always adds warmth to my feet,
If I go outside, a beanie
Will keep the cold from my head,
And when nights are frosty
A hot water bottle heats my bed.
