All I'm Doing is Trying to Speak

My computer keeps failing me all day long
Why won't it record my important song
The videos won't share or upload
I'm stuck here alone in my abode

The phone won't send audio files
Not even to myself
The book will just sit there
Upon my own shelf

Life I try to give it
A voice to be heard
Meanings beyond paper
I meant every word

All the time at school I was spoken to
For talking to people
They think I was rude
I disagree immensely to this proclaim
I found it the only way of staying sane

Let me speak when I want
Is this too much to ask
I just want to be heard
By someone at last
