When you think that all is well
Something finds you in to hell
Today such merry times together
Feelings of illness and the weather

Sadness comes and sadness goes
How we react just goes to show
The emptiness of feeling blue
Inside too and without you

How you feel is still unknown
All I go on is what you've shown
Mesmerising ever word
So that soon you will be heard

Tonight they fight and it goes on
No one wins and now you've gone
I sit here swollen glands inside
Fight my own inner divide

Keeping my self calm as such
Dreaming of the dreaded much
To come upon my mind again
And land inside a turbulent friend

Alight tonight and sight the bright
Inside the ride of much divide
Around the ground of called sound
And rage the stage of turning a page

Keep calm I must
For in me you trust
The futures light
After tonight
