A storm tonight
Gave me such a fright
And a bit of delight
Thunder all through the night
And flashes of light

The deep rumbles so loud
From the heavens so proud
Through all of the cloud

As my partner does sleep
Without a peep
Counting sheep

And there rain pours down
All over town
Me wearing a frown

Now the storm has passed
And I can sleep at last
