Last night I met a man
He is my step cousin
An intelligent young gentleman
Who's completed an Arts Degree

We had a few drinks to break the tension
Then ordered pizza and continued the conversation
I gave him my book to take a look
Political words found in common

A magnificent mind
I did find

Painful past and struggles in life
We have these in common
Knowledge inside waiting for the right time
Finding the job we want

Unknown future
A vague direction
An inkling
An idea

A writer at heart
